Confessed In Time

Ferdinand Peham was so scared of the impending “Doomsday” that he confessed to a robbery, the Associated Press reported. Police said he told them yesterday: “Quick, I want to ease my conscience as long as there is time.” Peham said he had read reports about “Doomsday” prophecies and decided to confess to stealing £5 from an elderly man last September, before it was too late, the police added.
