Secret Agreements
Sir, What nonsense "Kicked Out But Too Late" write*, typical of National Party lack ot vision and sommon sense. The Labour Government had vision when it made industrial agreements as national income from farming is precarious. The aluminium project would bring £2.000.000 profits to New Zealand, thus compensating for the loss of overseas markets and falling prices of our farm products. The present Government is treating the ordinary New Zealander with contempt and disregard and is now a law unto itself. We have every prospect of being strangled in the encircling financial ropes of private enterprise and international capitalism. —Yours, etc, FORESIGHT. February 9, 1962.
