COLLISION NEAR HANMER
Man Badly Injured
Keith Douglas McFarlane, of 19 Severn street, Mosgiel suffered leg and chest injuries when a car he was driving and a large truck collided about four miles and a half from Hanmer at 445 pm yesterday The accident occurred on a private road. Mr McFarlane was brought to Christchurch Hospital by the Culverden ambulance, arriving at 9 50 pm He was first treated in the casualty department, and an emergenev operation was later performed.
The "ar driven by Mr McFarlane was badly damaged in the collision.
