National Wool Awards Contest

( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 9

The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) will present the supreme award in the national 1962 season wool awards contest on Monday night. The trophy—a hand-carved figure in kauri standing 18in high—goes to the maker of the outstanding garment among more than 600 entries.

The results will be announced at the presentation at the Lower Hutt Town Hall, when 67 winners of gold medals and merit awards will be paraded.
