The Takanini four-year-old, Stipulate, was a class above his opponents when he won the Matamata Cup easily at the Matamata Racing Club's summer meeting yesterday

The cup was the first leg of the T.A.B. double. The second leg, the Publicans’ Handicap, was won just as easily by the local mare. Windermere. T 1 e double dividend was £l7 14s 6d.
