FALSE CAR MILEAGE

Firm Awarded Damages (N Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 22. In a reserved decision given in the Magistrate's Court at Auckland Mr W S. Spence. SM. has awarded a firm of car dealers £47 damages and costs against a private car owner who sold it a car with a false mileage. J Rennie Car Sales. Ltd., of Newmarket, the plaintiffs, bought a car in August. 1960 from Ronald Robinson, a clerk, for £lOOO The ear was in good order and. according to its sneedometer. had travelled 22.780 miles.
