Talks Planned On Honduras

Guatemala has accepted a British proposal for talks in April aimed at settling Guatemala’s claims to British Honduras
The British proposal called for a meeting among British. Guatemalan and British Honduran officials in Washington or another neutral site. The President of Guatemala (Mr Miguel Ydigoras Fuentes) said yesterday that Guatemala had cancelled plans to break diplomatic relations with London in the dispute over the territory, the Associated Press reported. The President said his Government had decided “to wait and see what will happen in the talks"
