Fair Treatment Of Gizenga Urged

The United Nations Secretary-General (U Thant) has appealed to the Central Congo Government for fair treatment for the recently-deposed Congolese deputy Prime Minister (Mr Antoine Gizenga).

He asked the Congolese Prime Minister (Mr Cyrille Adoula) that Mr Gizenga be dealt with “in accordance wah the law of the Congo” and that his rights be fully respected.
