Allowed Oil To Escape
For allowing oil to escape in Lyttelton Harbour on Decembers 7, Herbert Robert Montgomery Smith, master of the Huntingdon, was convicted and fined £2O. with solicitors’ fees, £3 3s, by Mr E J. S. Crutchley, in the Magistrate's Court at Lyttelton yesterday.
