CHIROPRACTIC BOARD
Former Naval Officer A Member One of the five men named to the new Chiropractic Board. Mr R. A. C. Cheyne was for some years Director of Intelligence in the Royal New Zealand Navy with the rank of commander. Mr Chevne joined the Navy during the Second World War. was sent to England as a rating and was commissioned there He served in motor-torpedo boats in the Mediterranean and was seriously injured In Beruit he was in a hospital bed next to one occupied by Lieutenant J R. Hanan, who as Minister of Justice, made the appointments to the Chiropractic Board. Mr Cheyne resigned from the Navy in 1955 and spent three years in the United States at a chiropractic school. He has a practice in Lower Hutt.
