Molotov Criticised By “Pravda”

MOSCOW, January 17.

The Soviet newspaper, “Pravda,” today accused the former Foreign Minister, Mr V. M. Molotov, of waging dogmatic and stubborn opposition to Mr Khrushchev’s policy of peaceful coexistence.

The attack in the Soviet Communist Party newspaper was the first propaganda criticism of the veteran Bolshevik since the Soviet Government announced on January 8 that he would return to his former post as permanent Soviet representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, the Associated Press reported. The criticism was so strong that foreign observers in Moscow felt the battle against Molotov and his so-called anti-party group would still be under way. Memoirs Reported

In London. “The Times" reported that Mr Molotov had written his memoirs and left the manuscript in Vienna when he was called back to Moscow. The report, from Stockholm, gave the newspaper “Svenska Dagbladet* as its source.

Mr Molotov was said to state tha. 1.800.000 Chinese workers had been sent to Russia, where they got the same wages as in China, which meant that they earned considerably lest thwi their Russian colleagues. He was also reported as saying that Peking was irritated over the way in which Moscow looked after the Chinese affairs in the United Nations. According to “Svenska Dagbladet.” the memoirs stated that Russia was making a substantial profit by reselling strategically Important goods from the West to the Eastern countries.
