Child Killed By Car
(N.Z Press Association) DUNEDIN, Jan. 11. A three and a half-year-old boy was killed by a car in the main street of Arrowtown, Central Otago, this morning. He was Michael Watts, son of Mr and Mrs C. N. Watts, of Hedgehope, Southland.
Dr. Angus Ross, reader in history and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Music at Otago University, has been elected to the fellowship which St. John’s College. Cambridge, offers annually to a scholar from the overseas Commonwealth on leave of absence in England.—
