Two youths took a schoolboy’s bicycle from outside a picture theatre, rode it some distance and placed it across a railway line where a train damaged it beyond repair Sergeant G. A. Dallow told Mr R. M. Grant. S.M., at Auckland today. Mr Dallow said only one vouth had bee.i caught Thomas Leglie Kaira. aged 19. • workman, pleaded guilty to converting a bicycle and wilfully placing an obstruction on a railway line. He was convicted and remanded in custody for a week for a nrnbation officer’s reonrt and sentence. M- Dallow said restitution of £25 was required.
