Speedway Racing N.Z. WINS TEST

The Christchurch speedway rider, G. Mardon, celebrated his return to the New Zealand motor-cycle team by •coring three wins and a second from hia four ride* in the third and final test against Australia at Western Springs on Saturday night. Mardon helped to pave the way for a comfortable tert victory, 27-21, which a ten gave New Zealand the teat series, 2-0, with one tert drawn.
New Zealand had won the first test, 34-1, and drawn the second, 24-24. M. Dunn scared a win and three seconds.
The New Zealand captain, M. Neill, won one and registered three thirds, and B. Subritzky scored one third after falling off in two of his races.
Best of the Australians was the captain. P. Moore, who won two race* and wa* third in another.
C. Taylor scored a win and a second and R. Sharp two seconds and a third. The captain, A. Lawson finished second once and third twice in his four starts.
