Renter Lose Moscow Teleprinter Link
(N 2 A.-R«ut«r— Cowngltt) MOSCOW, Jan. 6. Soviet authorities yesterday disconnected the direct teleprinter line used by Reuter, news agency to trans, mit its reports out of Moscow.
A Russian official said the reasons for the action were technical, but gave no further explanation for the sudden withdrawal of the facility.
Henceforth Reuter’s Moscow correspondents will revert to conventional commercial cables and telephone calls for the transmission of their news coverage.
