CHARTERIS BAY MARATHON

Finn Class Boats Do Well Finn class boats gained the first five places in the annual marathon run by the Charteris Bay Yacht Club on Saturday. Twenty-eight starters raced 16 miles from Charteris Bay and bacK by way of Shelly Bay. Purau. and Governor’s Bay. A Light south-west wind changed to east half-Way through the race. The first five boats had been sailing in the area for the last week, practising for the national championships. Results (showing handicaps and finishing times) were:— Fintahi (P.
