Kaikoura Excursion

Ma ? y families were among the 420 passengers who went on a train excursion to Ksi*°“ra y„ esterd »y- The train leftat 8 a - m - and returned at 10 pun., giving the passengers about five hours st Kaikoura. Yesterday’s trip was the first of the season to be run by the Railways Department. About 330 of the excursionists came from Christchurch; the others were picked up at other stations.
