A RACING MACHINE.—With its 100 sq ft spinnaker almost brushing the water, Impetuous, with B. D. Taylor at the helm, races on a broad lead during an R Class event on the Estuary. Impetuous was designed and built, and is owned, by B. J. C. Wall (Canterbury Yacht Club), Wall will race the craft in the New Zealand R Class contest for the Leander Trophy next week. Taylor (who crewed in the winning boat, Hectic, eight years ago) will be for’ard hand.
