TOLL CALLS AT CHRISTMAS
To allow as many as possible of the telephone exchange operators to have Christmas dinner at their homes, minimum staffs only will be on duty in telephone exchanges between noon and 2 pun. on Christmas Day. The public are asked to assist the Post Office and the operators by lodging only urgent calls between those hours on Christmas Day. 4
