SIR EARLE PAGE DIES

Former P.M. Of Australia (N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) BRISBANE, December 20. Sir Earle Page, a former Australian Prime Minister, died today, aged 81. Sir Earle Page became ill on November 24. and was flown to hospital in Brisbane He was operated on for an acute bowel condition. He appeared to be making good progress and was keenly following the Federal election results when he suffered a relapse on December 11. He was defeated in the election.
