DIPLOMATS BRIEFED
Heath Back In London (Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, Dec. 12. Adhering to his practice of seeing the Commonwealth High Commissioners each time he comes back from the Common Market meetings in Brussels, the Lord Privy Seal (Mr Heath) yesterday met High Commissioners at the Foreign Office and told them the latest position of negotiations for Britain’s entry into the Common Market. Mir Heath had been attending further talks with the Council of Ministers of the European Economic Community. Before he left Brussels he also saw Commonwealth heads of missions there and brought them up to date on what was going on. In London this week Commonwealth officials attached to High Commissioners’ offices who normally deal with the Common Market questions will be holding a conference, at which it is believed the treatment of exports of manufactures from Commonwealth countries will be discussed.
