Announcement Of Seedings Seedings for the Canterbury lawn tennis eHampionship* on December 26, 27. 28 and 29, follow the seedings for the New Zealand championships in all sections except that Miss B.’ Morrison, of Auckland, seeded second for the national women's singles, is not an entry. Those below Miss Morrison in the national seedings go up a place and Miss E. Cavaye, of Hutt Valley, has eighth seeding. In the national women’s doubles. Misses M. A. Smith (Auckland) and Morrison have second seeding. They are not in the Canterbury field so Misses B. Wright (Auckland) and V. Fladgate (Waikato) go in at fourth seed. L. A. Gerard and Miss Morrison are not among the entries for the mixed doubles The men’s singles have drawn 43 entries, women’s singles 28, men’s doubles 2, women’s doubles 14 and mixed doubles 24.
