Carpenter Guilty Of Theft
(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, December 13. The theft of £4OO worth of property from two Napier shops was admitted by Lawrence Richard Jane, aged 35. a carpenter, of Taradale, when he appeared in the Magistrate's Court, at Napier, today. The Court was told that police recovered from Jane about £lOO worth of goods that were not previously known to have been stolen. Jane was convicted on both charges by Mr W. A. Harlow, SJVt M and remanded till Friday for sentence.
