TRAMS ARE HIS LIFE.—Mr Erik Dahlstroem, of Helsinki, a tramway motorman, who spends his spare time building miniature trams. In his childhood he made his own toys. The oldest model is a French tram of 1820 drawn by horses. The earliest Finnish model dates from 1904. There are also buses in the collection, including a London red two-decker. The main materials are papers and match-sticks painted in oils. Mr Dahlstroem plans to give his collection to a museum.
