MEETING IN BERMUDA
Speculation On Aims
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Dec. 7. The main subject of the Kennedy-Macmillan talks in Bermuda will be President de Gaulle, and not East-West relations, according to the “Daily Mail” correspondent in Washington. The main point to be considered would be General de Gaulle's opposition to the British - American - German plan for the Berlin negotiations. Another point would be the “detached attitude” he is said to have expressed to Mir Miacmillan about helping Britain in its move to join the Common Market. The British-American-Ger-man plan is that negotiations should be confined to West Berlin’s security, economic viability and access to the West.
