Bus Passenger Injured
James Peter Hampson, aged 65', of Punches street, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital with head injuries suffered when he fell from a stationary Transport Board bus about 630 p.m. yesterday. The accident occurred at tote corner of Purchas street and Barbadoes street. Mr Hampson apparently tripped and struck his head on the concrete kerb while getting off the bus at the stop near his home. His condition was described last evening by the hospital authorities as being fairly comfortable.
