AUCKLAND CUP WINNER
Ruato Moving To Matamata “The Press” Special Service MATAMATA, Nov. 29. Ruato, winner of the last Auckland Cup, is due in Matamata on Sunday. His trainer, N. Martin, will further his preparation for meetings at Te Aroha, Paeroa and Te Awamutu. He will later shift to Ellerslie to finish his cup preparation. R. Fisher, who rode Ruato last year, will be able to ride the horse in work. Ruato will be stabled at N. Crawford’s alongside an earlier Auckland Cup winner, Red Eagle, which is being used as a hack by a local woman rider.
