fNJZ. Press Association) HAMILTON, November 27. In a match ending on the second afternoon, the Waikato cricket team beat Northland by an innings and 60 runs at Hamilton today. .Apart from E. L. Child, who batted well for 38. and B. Dunning. who played some good shots in scoring 22. the Northland batting was disappointing against a varied Waikato attack The bowling honours went to N. Puna for the second time in the match, his figures being 10 wickets for 79 runs, the result of clever ofT-spin bowling. with astute variations. The details of the scoring were:— Northland: First innings, 113: second innings, 107 (Child 38. Dunning 22: Puna five for 50. M. C. Langon two for 13). Waikato: first innings, 280 for nine wickets declared.
