Decline In Group Profit (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) SYDNEY, November 27. Group profit of Consolidated Press Holdings. LtdSydney, declined by £61,934 to £348,850 in the year to June 30. Profit equalled earning rate on higher ordinary capital of 22.5 per cent, against 37.6 per cent, in the previous year. Dividend has been held steady at 12J pet cent, for the year with the payment of toe final 6 per cent, on January 2 next. Profit - was after providing £210.771 for taxation (previous £237,514 and allowing depreciation of £173,350 (£167,031). Amalgamated Batteries. Amalgamated Batteries. Ltd, Christchurch, has recommended an unchanged annual dividend of 10 per cent., payable on December 15. Snares will be marked ex dividend on December 11. Investors Unit Trust.—Dividend for the six months ended October 31 is 7s 6d per 100 units, making 3 per cent, for the year. The dividend is payable on December 15. ex October 31.
