Exhibition In Wellington
(N.Z Press Association! WELLINGTON, Nov. 27. The first exhibition in New Zealand of Russian-made goods will be opened in Wellington early next month, the commercial counsellor of the Soviet Legation, Mr V. Andreev, announced today. He said that the exhibition would be held to give New Zealand people some idea of the types and variety of consumer goods at present being made in Russia. Goods ranging from refrigerators and vacuum cleaners, delicate handicraft toys, sporting rifles and shotguns, to watches and pottery will be on show. Altogether, more than 3000 items will form the exhibition. The exhibition will be officially opened on Wednesday, December 5. It will be restricted to diplomats and members of the business community on December 7 and 8. It will be open to the genera] public from December 11.
