Memorial Window Dedicated fN.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. Nov. 26. Members of the Hamilton Ministers’ Association dedicated - a stained-glass window in memory of Dame Hilda Ross in a service at the nurses’ chapel. Waikato Hospital, today. Dame Hilda Ross was a member of toe Waikato Hospital Board for many years. The window is a tribute to her from toe board. k The window was made in England, and the makers commented that it was one of toe most beautiful they had made. A sister on toe hospital staff posed for a colour photograph on which part of toe window was based. It shows St Luke as the beloved physician with a nurse, bands extended, kneeling at his feet. The nurse is wearing the uniform of toe hospital—white smock and cap, and toe ‘rich blue cape of a ward sister. ' Incorporated in toe design are replicas of the honours conferred on Dame Hilda Ross. The window complements a matching window given by Mias Clara Hooker, a Blanket nurse. K
