FLIGHT TO TASMANIA
Light Plane Delayed (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) ROME, November 25. A New Zealander and two Tasmanians ferrying a light aircraft to Tasmania, are doubtful whether they will be able to reach Launceston ■ by Christmas as planned. They have been dogged by constant bad weather since ; they left London. They are Eoin Young. 15 Kiwi drive, Timaru, Gavin ■ Youl, of Planes, Tasmania, ■ and Roger Tregaskis, of Launceston. Bad weather forced them , to land in Corisca yesterday. : and had earlier made them wait for two days in Nice. Today they left Rome for ’ Athens, but landed at ■ Brindisi, in southern Italy, ! because of the late hour. The aircraft formerly belonged to the racing driver, 1 Jack Brabham. It has been sold to an undisclosed Tasmanian.
