More Money For Wool-Science
Trade associations in the British woollen industry have agreed to an increase in a statutory levy to yield an additional £50,000 a year for scientific research. At present the levy yields about £185.000. The increase will be largely absorbed by rising costs m the work of the Wool Industries Research Association at Leeds. Larger funds, however. should also make possible more financial help for research project* in British universities and schools of technology. -
