This was after taxation provision of £122.955 (£101245) and depredation of £24.474 (£16275). Dividend of 10 per cent. is covered over four times. Balance carried forward is £138268 (£198.489). Taxation over-provided In 1960 was £3041. Transfer to general reserve is £lOO,OOO (£100,000). transfer to machinery re- 1 serve £29,000 (nil), and transfer to dividend equalisation reserve £30,000 (nfl). 1 Capital is steady at £300,000 and reserves total £584.568. Mortgages are £190.000 (£146200). Current liabilities are £194,044 and currant assets £711268 (£681,008), including cash at bank £102,060. cash on term deposits £277,010 and stock £191,129 (£146212). Fixed assets at book value, January 1, 1957, are £427,823 (£363,629).
