INSPECTION OF ARMY CAMPS
Chief Of General Staff’s Visit The Chief of General Staff (Major-General L. W. Thornton) will inspect Regular Force camps throughout New Zealand this week. He will arrive in Christchurch this morning, and leave for Palmerston North tomorrow morliing. General Thornton will inspect the Construction Squadron shortly after his arrival at Wigram. He will then inspect King Edward Barracks, and, in the afternoon, Burnham camp. Before leaving Wigram for Palmerston North tomorrow morning he will inspect the Addington barracks.
