Polar Kit
Sir Edmund Hillary’s polar kit. which he wore en his journey to the South Pole is among recent gift* to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. He haa also given the museum the astro compa** end bubble sextant used on the trip, and a bubble sextant used in a flight over Everest in 1933 by Air Commodore Fellowes.
