IRONSANDS TESTS
Concentrate Yield High (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 26. The extraction of iron concentrate from west coast ironsands at a Mount Wei* ilngton factory has finished. An official of the company said this evening that about 600 tons had been processed The yield of concentrate from the sand had been consistently about 85 per cent—high by world standards. The official said that most of the concentrate would be shipped overseas tomorrow for testing. The remainder would be sent within the next few weeks.
