PREMIER FLEECE.—Mr J. R. Todhunter, of Rakaia Gorge, at this year’s Christchurch show with the champion four-tooth Merino ram fleece. It was shorn on the Monday of the week of the show. Weighing 14¾lb and of 60’s, 64’s quality, it won both the Pyne and Beyle Challenge Cup and the Canterbury Sheepowners’ Federation gold medal.
