NATIONAL ROSE SHOW
Trophies Presented The presentation of the National Rose Society’s trophies to successful competitors In the National Rose Show, took place last evening. The trophies were presented by Dr. P. V. Grave. This was followed by a selection of colour slides showing a range of horticultural views of the United Kingdom and the Continent, which were taken by Miss M. Watling during a recent tour. Today's programme for the convention, which ends this afternoon, includes a visit to Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, during the morning.
After lunch, delegates will visit the home of the national president (Mr J Watling), at Halswell.
