Yukon Crash
(N Z-P-A.-Rettter— Copyright) WASHINGTON, Nov. 24. Five parachutes were seen opening from a crippled United States Air Force cargo plane shortly before it crashed on toe Yukon, near the Alaska highway, last night, United Press Interntaional reported. It was thought that there were 10 men aboard the C-119 aircraft An Air Force spokesman said toe plane crashed on a flight from Whitehorse. Yukon territory, to Houston, Texas. Rescue squads are heading for the scene in deep snow at toe base of a 5000 ft mountain. e
