Term Of Bill May Be Cut
(N 2.PA.-Reater— Copyright) LONDON, November 24. The term of Britain’s proposed Immigration Bill might be cut from five years to a year, the “Daily Mail** reported. There was growing support at Westminster for this idea, which had found approval at high level, the report said. This would enable the law to be dropped if conditions changed. The report said there was no doubt that the Government would find it easier to pass the much-critictaed bin into law if it was on a oneyeez term. The bill would thus come up for a review once a year.
