Colour Schemes And Accidents
A branch of the United States Post Office recently painted 3500 of its vehicles a dull olive colour as a test, and painted a similar number of vehicles in bright colours. After two million miles of running it was calculated that the vehicles painted dull olive had been involved in 36 per cent, more accidents than had those painted in bright colours.
