Nov. 23 The Duke of Edinburgh would pilot a Heron of the Queen’s Flight 8000 miles—across Africa and then back to Britain—as a finale to the Royal tour, the “Daily Express” reported With a few members of the Royal household he planned to take off from Bathurst, Gambia, on December 6, fly to Dar-es-Salaam, and arrive in Britain on December I€.
