The track will eventually extend along the whole frontage- of the racecourse property from the function of Yaldhurst and Carmen roads. The new track has a width of 21 feet and will be about TO chains. About 20 chains, to the first of several points of access to Yaldhurst road, has already been fenced fcnd will be available for use either today or tomorrow. Most of the work is expected to be completed within the next few weeks but one small section of the area, which is at present cropped in potatoes, will not be available until early next year.
