GOODS MADE IN N.Z.
Better Publicity Wanted (Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Nov 23. A plea for better publicity for New Zealand-made goods was made in the House of Representatives today by Mr M A. Connelly (Opposition. Ri-carton) Mr Connelly asked the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Marshall) whether he had seen the advertising material prepared by a Dunedin company and attached to its products.
The company stated the product had been made tor New Zealanders in New Zealand by New Zealanders, and urged the public to “buy ‘New Zea>and-made’ and keep New Zealand's workers employed Support New Zealand industries whose workers spend over £ll5 million yearly in New Zealand “
Mr Connelly asked Mr Marshall whether he would take steps to urge all manufacturers in New Zealand to draw the public’s attention to these facts, which were vital to New Zealand’s economy.
