Positive Swab From Urrall
The swab taken from Urrall after he had won the Empire Handicap on the first day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's cup meeting at Addington on Tuesday, November 7, has returned a positive test. This information was released yesterday by the secretary of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club (Mr J. Rowley), who said that no date had yet been set for the inquiry. A five-year-old gelding by U. Scott from Inverary, Urrall is raced and trained by W. E. Lowe at Hinds. He has had two wins and two platings from six starts this season.
