NEW FACTORY BUILDING
Foundation Stone Laid (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 15. The foundation stone of a £500,000 office and factory building for the newly formed company of Reckett Colman Nugget (N.Z.), Ltd., was laid on the fouracre site in Rosebank road, Avondale, by the company chairman, Mr J. B. Upton, of England. The block is the first of three stages in the company’s factory development scheme. With the exception of pharmaceutical lines, which are still manufactured in Dunedin, all the products of the company will be manufactured at the new plant The company was formed in November last year through the integration of Reckett and Colman (N.Z.), Ltd., and the Nugget Polish Company of New Zealand, Ltd. The new building is due to be completed next July.
