ST. MARGARETS OLD GIRLS
Membership Of 1085
With a membership of 1085. Including 517 life members and 568 annual subscribers but not counting branch members, the St Margaret's College Old Girls’ Association has issued an annual report which shows strength in numbers and a sound financial position. The association has an accumulated fund of £l6Bl, a life membership fund of £3363. and a scholarship fund of £4OB. An old girls’ graduation list indicates a variety of degrees, some with first-class honours, taken by former pupils of the school and a wide field of careers undertaken. Two young members who have been in the news recently are Miss Leone Main (“Miss New Zealand"), placed seventh in the "Miss World" contest last week, and Miss Susan Kellaway, winner of another “Miss New Zealand” contest earlier in the year. Both are old girls of the school Reports from the Timaru. Wellington and Auckland branches are included in the association s annual report. T
