Police Fight With Gas
(N.Z. Pre, A,m— Copyright) BERLIN. November 14. East and West Berlin police fought a tear gas battle across the wall last night, exchanging 59 grenades. West Berlin police said East Berlin police hurled 30 ??, ar ® a » grenades against a Western loudspeaker lorry broadcasting anti-Communist propaganda near the wall dividing the city, the Associated Press reported. In return, the West Berliners threw 29 tear gas grenades over the wall. The East Berliners finally withdrew, police said. The clash occurred near Wilhelmsruh elevated train station on the French-Soviet sector border.
