Trotting Cup Broadcasts
( Perliamentarp Reporter) WELUNGTON, Nov. 15. Broadcasting facilities for the New Zealand Trotting Cup were criticised by Mr P. Blanchfield (Opposition. Westland) in the House of Representatives. Mr Blanchfield asked the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Kinsella) whether he was aware that all the commentaries on cup day were broadcast by 3YC and not 3YA. “People working in various occupations missed the occasional notification from 3YA, and so missed the commentaries from 3YC on the most important trotting day of the year,” said Mr Blanchfield.
